Today, the real estate industry is now focused into vertical living. As main grounds become populated and many developers race in putting up projects for the masses, our comforts in living become restricted to the point that we sacrifice for it. For many of us, we prefer living in high-rise condominiums for safety and accessibility. This in the long run deprives us of enjoying a custom garden capable of delivering freshness in all aspects. Although some housing projects offer greeneries for public enjoyment, nothing beats direct access to it. The company, Click and Grow, has found a solution for that need by creating the Wall Farm Mini.

Click and Grow seeks to promote Zen in every home. Click & Grow is about seeking progress, change and solutions to different plant cultivation problems so you don’t have to. By having a plant, a person feels a sense of responsibility; when the plant cultivates and they happen to experience it, they feel pure excitement and joy. Click & Grow has a line of products designed to automate gardening. Their latest product is a stand-alone wall garden built for indoors that grows fresh herbs, fruits and leafy greens all year round and hyper-locally. This product allows plants to grow faster organically without the need of harmful substances. The company offers an order basis production which takes about 12 to 16 weeks.

The small size wall farm retails for $899 while the large wall farm costs $1,299. For every package, the wall farm comes with plant capsules which are biodegradable and contain no environmentally harmful chemicals. All you have to do is fill up the tank with water and refill them when needed. The tank can last to about a month so you don’t have to think too much about it. When everything is set, you can plug it in. Energy efficient full spectrum LED lighting provides a versatile growing environment suitable for many different plant types. The light is on for 16 hours sufficing to the lack of sunlight exposure throughout the day. The farm also includes sensors that force the lights to blink when the plants’ water trough is low. The mini can hold up to 34 plants while the large version can hold up to 50. The heart of this project is the soil.

Taking inspiration from NASA, they adopted the concept for the Smart Soil that creates the perfect environment plants need to thrive. It releases nutrients in sync with the plant’s life cycle, keeps soil pH balanced, and employs tiny oxygen pockets to guarantee that your plants get ample breathing room and nutrients even when the soil is wet. Mattias Lepp, founder of Click and Grow, stated that his goals were directed at food production and minimize waste. With every purchase, you are automatically subscribed to their monthly supply of smart capsules, delivering 18 capsules for $59.95. They’re shipped in recyclable cardboard containers to minimize waste, and depending on what you’re growing and how you prune them, you might get more than one harvest out of each soil pod. The subscription is flexible; you can modify your plant selections, upgrade or downgrade, or even cancel your subscription. Imagine the savings you get and the health benefits that comes with raising a farm bed.
