Samsung DV300F Is The First DualView Camera With Wi-Fi

Samsung has come out with point-and-shoots earlier which featured Wi-Fi, the SH100 and the ST80 are two, but this is the first time that Wi-Fi has made its way into the new DualView camera style. The Samsung DV300F, which comes equipped with a 1.5-inch front-facing LCD (will help with self-portraits), has a 3-inch rear-facing display, 5x optical zoom, a 7.76mm 16 Megapixel CCD sensor, and a 4.5-22.5mm, f4.5 lens.

Android Faceniff App Makes it Easy to Hack Your Facebook and Twitter Accounts

FaceNiff is an Android app that can be used to hijack sessions on public or private Wi-Fi networks without the need for a computer. It can hack Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Amazon and Nasza-Klasa (a Polish social network), and more services are coming soon. Thankfully, the app only works on very certain handsets and requires jailbreaking, so it’s not going to fall into the hands of too many mischievous Android operators; at least, not yet.

Google teases with Android 3.0 Honeycomb video for tablets

Google’s latest Android version 3.0, Honeycomb just got a bit sweeter with the release of a teaser video. Google is showing Honeycomb at CES, and it appeared first on the Motorola XOOM Android tablet. Google touts Honeycomb as being the first Android OS designed “Entirely for Tablets.”

iPhone 4 will not upload 720p HD video over 3G

It seems that the Apple iPhone 4 has another unexpected hiccup in its functionality. As you may already know, the iPhone 4 is capable of recording glorious 720p HD video. Unfortunately, it can’t upload them. Intomobile is reporting on their attempts during a video upload test, only to discover that the iPhone 4 will not upload 720p video. Instead, it will automatically downscale your HD video down to a less than eye-popping 568 x 320 pixel resolution.

Mobile YouTube now showing banner advertisements

Oh Google. Why must you own every aspect of my life and then choose to fill it with advertisements and monetization attempts? While I’m not as inclined to watch YouTube videos on my phone, there are many people who do and, well, Google wants its cut. As such, mobile ads will now be showing up on the mobile YouTube site.

The annoucement mentions that the banner ads will be displayed in several areas on m.youtube.com, but they’re only targeting the United States and Japan in the short term
