]]> The retro console TurboGrafx 16 had an 8-bit CPU and dual 16-bit GPU with 482 colors, this was back in 89, and was pretty quick for its time. It didn’t do amazingly well, but had a couple popular titles like Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Bonk’s Adventures. I don’t know if they will both be made available on the app, but Hudson Entertainment is going to be releasing one for the iPhone and iPod touch “this winter.” Too bad there’s no iPad release, as 10″ screen gaming would have been pretty sweet.

What we do know is you’ll get World Sports Competition for free, then you will be shown 15 more games which can be downloaded at $3.99 each. You can try one game per day for 3 minutes to see if you like it, i’m not sure why you just can’t try as many as you like each day for 3 minutes, but that’s what Hudson has gone and done. It would have probably been even better to do an ad-supported payment system and just offer up the games for free, as they can be gotten as ROMs if you’re jailbroken.
