Google Nexus Prime possibly a 1.5GHz Ice Cream Sandwich smothered in Super AMOLED HD sweetness

nexus-prime

Don’t these Google devices make you hungry? First, we had the Google Nexus One by HTC running delectable Gingerbread. Then, we had the Google Nexus S by Samsung. And now, we are already on the cusp of the next Google flagship phone, the Google Nexus Prime. No, there’s no relation to Optimus… possibly because Google sounds like it’s sticking with Samsung rather than switching to LG or back to HTC.

4.3-inch Samsung Galaxy S II Pre-orders Break 3 Million Units

samsung-galaxy-s2

Let’s put this into perspective. The first Galaxy S sold over 10 million units last year. That’s a pretty huge success. If you consider that there are already three million pre-orders on the Galaxy S II you’ve got to wonder how many sales will happen that aren’t pre-orders.  I think the whole Super AMOLED display is a huge factor for setting Samsung’s Android offerings apart from the HTCs and Motorolas of the world.

T-Mobile Vibrant (Samsung Galaxy S) coming this week

Samsung Vibrant

Looking for a hot new Android phone to go with your T-Mobile service? It has now been confirmed that T-Mo will indeed be launching its new Samsung Vibrant smartphone this Thursday. You might already know it as the Samsung Galaxy S; this is just their variant on the hardware.

This beats AT&T to the punch by a few days, since the Captivate (AT&T’s take on the Galaxy S) won’t be hitting store shelves for a little while after that. It’s also bodes well for T-Mobile that there are shortages of the HTC EVO 4G (Sprint) and the HTC Droid Incredible (Verizon). I hope for T-Mobile’s sake that they have a good supply of these phones ready to go.
