Rumored August manufacturing ramp-up in line with September iPhone launch

All the stars are starting to align themselves. We had heard for some time that Apple would wait until September to release the successor to the current iPhone 4 and now we’ve got some more evidence that backs up the timeframe. The newest report says that Apple’s manufacturing partners are going to start assembling the next-gen iPhone around the middle of August.

Steve Jobs Unveils iCloud @ WWDC

It was a bit of a surprise today when Steve Jobs walked out on the stage at WWDC to the tune of James Brown’s “I Got You (I Feel Good)” classic blasting over the PA system. He took a leave back in January, but that didn’t stop him from appearing today. In high spirits and receiving much appreciation from 5000 Apple devotees, jobs kicked off the event with the announcement of iCloud.

Radiation Detection App Rejected by Apple – Goes Through iPhone Jailbreak

Apple has been under scrutiny for the iPhone 4′s flawed antenna which loses signal if users hold the device in a certain way. Israeli company Tawkon developed an app that lets iPhone users see and lower their exposure to cellphone radiation, and the app showed that the iPhone releases an increased amount of radiation when struggling to find a clear signal.

Apple Event on March 2 Could See Unveiling of iPad 2?

Tasteless Marketing By LG Kicks Steve Jobs In The Face

LG’s marketing is tasteless to say the least. They release a video for the newly announced Optimus Pad, aka G-Slate, with a simulated “Spec Fighter” video game challenging what clearly resembles Apple CEO Steve Jobs and the iPad, not so cleverly renamed to the A-Pad. LG’s unnamed Ninja kicks Jobs in the face at about the 1:00 minute mark of the video.

The missing iPhone 4G that Gizmodo acquired has been the most popular in a slew of found iPhone prototypes that have arisen over the last few weeks. Since the Gizmodo iPhone 4G was found, there has been a controversy arisen as to how it was acquired, and the means Apple took to get it back. Apple was so desperate to get the iPhone prototype back that it filed a warrant to retrieve the phone, and any related material to it. Now, the media has managed to get the Affidavit unsealed, making the details of the warrant available to the public.
