Unless you are a spy of the state or just a plain voyeur, the act of spying on family members, friends or even your better half is never a good idea. If you see no problem with it and have totally innocent purposes (and of course you do), you might want to use the Rover App-Controlled Spy Tank. You probably won’t be able to pull off a great spy mission with this baby, but the Rover Spy Tank has some pretty cool features that would make it fun to use nonetheless.

The Rover Spy Tank is operated by an iOS device and it uses a direct Wi-Fi connection along with an app to allow viewing on the onboard video camera, capture some snapshots and move it from one place to another. Onscreen arrows are also present and these allow you to move the spy tank from one point to another. You may also opt for the accelerometer option to tilt and angle the tank. The total range however is just a hundred feet through walls and around 200 feet in a direct line. Moreover, the camera has a night vision capability to enable you to capture some wicked activities in the night time.

Six AA batteries are required to use the Rover App-Controlled Spy tank. Some experts say that this is a better option than propriety batteries which are costly and not as accessible or versatile. The Spy Tank is now available and is $149.99.
