While 1080p smartphones tend to be the “latest and greatest” thing to hit the Android world, the biggest Android handset maker, Samsung of course, currently doesn’t offer anything with such a high-end display. Or do they? A user agent profile has now surfaced for the Samsung SGH-i337, a mysterious device that packs a 1080p display.

Based on past rumors we have long believed Samsung is gearing up for a 4.99-inch 1080p Samsung Galaxy S4, could this in fact be it? Based on the naming convention, if it is, this is the AT&T version.

Previous rumors indicate the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch as the GT-i9500, with features like Full HD and an Exynos 5 Octa processor onboard. So you have to wonder, what exactly is the SGH-i337? A special AT&T version, or perhaps an entirely new AT&T exclusive with a 1080p display? What do you think?
