Canadian Android fans looking to get your hands on the Nexus 10: we have good news. The Samsung Nexus 10 is back in stock again, though it’s hard to say for how long.

Keep in mind that this is only the 16GB version, which will set you back $409 and promises to deliver in 3-5 business days. Stock will likely not last long, based on past trends, so move quickly before its too late.

For those that need a refresher on the specs, the Nexus 10 sports an impressive 2560 x 1600 display, a dual-core Exynos 5 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 9000mAh battery, micro-HDMI, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1.9MP front cam, 5MP rear cam and stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

So what are you waiting for, grab the Samsung Nexus 10 while you still can.

The iPad might currently be on top when it comes to tablets, but things may be shifting quickly, according to a new ABI Research report. Back in 2011 Gartner had suggested that Android would hold a 38% share of the tablet market by 2015, but ABI says that things are now moving much quicker. The latest data suggests that Android accounted for an impressive 44 percent of all tablets shipped during the last quarter.

Sure, this might only speak for one quarter, but with continued competing products coming from B&N, Amazon and Google, change is clearly on the horizon. The Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire might be the leaders in this change, but they aren’t the only players that are shifting the game, and the new Samsung Nexus 10 will likely also play a key role.

So when do analysts think that Android might overtake Apple in the tablet market, if trends continue in Google’s favor? Perhaps as early as mid-2013, believe it or not.

What stands in Google’s way? Not only do they have strong competition from Apple, Microsoft is also in the game now with Windows 8. Android might have cost on its side, but it also is known for not having as many tablet-optimized apps as iOS. In the 7-inch market, Android also now has competition from the Apple iPad Mini. Still, it is hard to deny that Android is gaining major traction in the tablet market.

It does seem inevitable that iOS will eventually be dethroned by Android in the tablet world, but do you think it will happen as soon as mid-2013 or will it take longer?

Still dreaming of the magical day when you can purchase that shiny new LG Nexus 4 or Samsung Nexus 10? While the November 13th launch didn’t go so smoothly, at least Google now offers a way to figure out if the device is in stock, anywhere in the world that carries it through Google Play.

The Play Store Availability Checker covers all models of the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. Again, it gives you an easy way to see what sizes and variants of your favorite Google Nexus devices are available without having to directly go to each link in the Google Play store. While it’s nice to have such a tool, it would have been even better if they had just had a much more massive stockpile of devices in the first place.

Are you still waiting to get your hands on a Nexus device, or do you already have the Nexus you’ve dreamed of? For Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 owners, did you have trouble snagging the device or was your transaction process reasonably smooth?

Over at the XDA Developers forum, progress has already been made towards a full port of the Clockwork Recovery Mod for the Samsung Nexus 10. Rather quick work, considering the Nexus 10 was just released for ordering on November 13th.

The Recovery Mod comes in two different flavors, a touchscreen operable version and a hardware control version. Keep in mind that there aren’t any actual differences with the software itself, just the way you navigate through the Nexus 10 Clockwork Recovery Mod.

Before you rush out and grab this recovery mod, keep in mind that its creator makes it clear that there has been through limited testing so far. Since few units have actually made their way into customer hands yet, the mod needs willing testers to ensure it actually works as it should. In other words, Shrimp208 cautions you to proceed at your own risk. For more information about using the Clockwork Recovery Mod and the testing that is needed, head over at the XDA Developers forums.

November 13th saw the official release of the LG Nexus 4 and Samsung Nexus 10, at least for those lucky enough to actually order one before stock dried up. Within hours, almost every market was sold out of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10, but the United States still managed to keep enough Nexus 10 16GB models in stock it seems. Until today, that is.

The 16GB version of the Samsung Nexus 10 is now “sold out” in the Play Store. At least it managed to last two days. You have to wonder why it lasted so much longer, though. Did Google incorrectly believe the 16GB Nexus 10 would outshine the 32GB model and prepare a lot more stock? Or simply was there limited interest in the smaller-sized option to begin with?

Although the recent Nexus launch has been a success when it comes to numbers, it has certainly been a bumpy ride with glitches and ordering issues for potential Nexus buyers and now the arrival of “back order” notices for many of the individuals that managed to “buy” the Nexus 4.

Were you able to get your hands on the Nexus 4 or the Nexus 10? If not, will you wait until they come back in stock or are you considering an alternative tablet or smartphone instead?

Forget about ridiculously long lines outside Apple stores on a new iProduct’s release day, because the new Nexus range had sold out practically worldwide within an hour after the devices were available for purchase on the Play store website.

For those that didn’t get their hands on a new Nexus device and are not sure when they’ll next be in stock, Google hasn’t been too helpful here, and it seems they’re not quite certain themselves. A post on the new Nexus products page says:

There’s been so much interest for the Nexus lineup that we’ve sold out of some of our initial stock in a few countries! We are working hard to add more Nexus devices to Google Play in the coming weeks to keep up with the high demand. You can learn more about Nexus devices and stay updated at play.google.com/nexus.

While this is pretty vague, it’s clear that the LG Nexus 4 is generating more demand than Google had previously anticipated. The good news is that they will be stocking up soon, and if we’re lucky, we will still be able to get a handset before the holidays arrive. For those in the U.S., T-Mobile does have the Nexus 4 available on contract for $199. They also sell it off-contract, but at a price that is nearly double what it costs from the Google Play store.

For other countries, all you can really do is wait. If you are really desperate and have extra cash to burn, you could always hit Ebay, where some sellers have posted the popular Google Nexus 4 up for ridiculously high prices. Shockingly, many people are buying the Nexus 4 even at prices that are double or triple their actual worth.

Were you lucky enough to get the LG Nexus 4 or Samsung Nexus 10 from the Google Play store?

The Nexus 10 was originally announced to only sport 16GB and 32GB storage sizes with no way to expand beyond that. While this might be good enough for some consumers, what if you want and need more? The good news is that your wish might be coming true. Apparently a Korean press release on Samsung's website also mentioned a 64GB version of the new Samsung Nexus 10.
The Nexus 10 was originally announced to only sport 16GB and 32GB storage sizes with no way to expand beyond that. While this might be good enough for some consumers, what if you want and need more? The good news is that your wish might be coming true. Apparently a Korean press release on Samsung’s website also mentioned a 64GB version of the new Samsung Nexus 10. Since then, the image showing the 64GB model has been edited to remove its mention.

This means one of two things. The first possibility is that this was totally a mistake and no 64GB version exists. The second option is that a 64GB model does in fact exist but for whatever reason Google is holding off its announcement and Samsung accidentally let the cat out of the bag.

It is really hard to guess which of these scenarios will prove true. That being said, having a 64GB offering might round out the Nexus 10′s options and help it compete with the iPad on nearly every level. If this is true all we need now is a 3G/4G version of the Nexus 10 as well.

What do you think, would you buy a 64GB Nexus 10 if this proves to be true?
