Google Looking into Alternative Ways to Login

Google has recently voiced its concerns, along with many others, of traditional password based-security and how it really isn’t all that secure. In a research paper being published later this month, two of Google’s security experts stated, “we feel passwords and simple bearer tokens such as cookies are no longer sufficient to keep users safe.”

Encryption Decrypted By Federal Judge

The self-incriminating clause of the Fifth Amendment is always a great help for defendants who want to keep their encrypted hard drives from being decrypted when prosecution asks for it, until now. A Colorado federal judge has ruled that decrypting a computer hard drive does not violate the defendant’s rights.
