Motorola Flipside Android phone announced by AT&T for $99

Motorola’s Flipside, an Android 2.1 smartphone skinned with MOTOBLUR is heading to AT&T. Confusingly due to Motorola’s naming conventions on mobile phones, the Flipside does not flip at all like we would expect it to. The Backflip flips its keyboard back and forth, while the Flipside offers a more traditional slideout keyboard.

Motorola Flipout square phone at Rogers for $30

The oddly shaped cube mobile phone form factor is back, this time its on Rogers Wireless and Motorola is giving it a run with an Android 2.1 phone. Nokia gave it a shot with the X5, although we only heard of an Indonesian release, perhaps they weren't brave enough to try it on other markets.
