LG Nexus 4 starts shipping today for some, back ordered for others

Today was the day the many of the individuals that ordered the LG Nexus 4 finally got confirmation emails and UPS shipping information. Unfortunately, it wasn’t smooth sailing for everyone. It seems that while some users managed to get confirmations, others got a much less exciting email indicating that their Nexus 4 was now on back order.

In T-Mobile’s Fantasy World the LG Nexus 4 has microSD, unfortunately reality says otherwise

If you thought your newly ordered T-Mobile version of the LG Nexus 4 was special because of the advertised “microSD port” on T-Mobile’s sale page, we have some bad news for you. Except apparently in the magical world of T-Mobile, there is no such thing as MicroSD on the Nexus 4— it was a misprint.

Sony Xperia Advance comes to US unlocked for $50 less than the LG Nexus 4

While the LG Nexus 4 is extremely cheap at $299, not everyone loves the brand LG. Sure, you get an extremely powerful device at an amazing price— but again, that’s if you like LG. What a more ‘premium’ brand device for around the same price? Sony Xperia Advance has now made its way over to the United States and is just $250 unlocked from NewEgg.

LG Nexus 4 sold at-cost by Google?

While the LG Nexus 4 might be lacking 4G LTE, it is jam-packed with extremely powerful graphics and processing power. In fact, there is so much great hardware in here, it seems impossible that Google Play is able to sell the Nexus 4 for only $299. That’s because they are actually not making a dime directly on the hardware, it seems.

LG Nexus 4 officially announced

For a long time now, we’ve been talking about the possibility of LG making a new Nexus device. With tons of leaked photos and other information, there was no denying it. We all expected to hear official word of the new smartphone today– until we found out that Hurricane Sandy resulted in Google canceling the event. Good news, they decided not to let this get in the way and unveiled the Nexus 4 through their blog instead.
