The 1080p smartphone revolution has begun. Oppo, Sharp and HTC are among some of the first to jump in with 1080p 5-inch smartphone. HTC even managed to unveil the first US-bound 1080p smartphone, the HTC Droid DNA. Apparently, things are about to get even more crowded as Sony and even Lenovo prepare to jump into the fray as well.

Lenovo Brings on the Windows 8 Convertibles

Windows 8 is almost here, and with it comes a flood of new devices. One of the biggest changes with Windows 8 is that it could finally bring hybrid devices to the forefront. Intel Atom-Based Smartphones to be Released This Week

Intel CEO Paul Otellini said at an investor meeting that their first ATOM Medfield phone is on its way out the door this week. The bad news is that it is likely going to be the Lava Xolo X900 in India or the Lenovo K800 in China, so no Medfield for any of the major markets just yet. It seems that they are coming though, it’s only a matter of time.

Lenovo’s K91 Smart TV Runs Android 4.0

K91 is branded as the world’s first smart TV to run Android 4.0. The “smart” part of the equation is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor running Lenovo’s skinned Android 4.0. This apparently offers a seamless combination of VOD, Internet applications and traditional TV programs. Its TV 2.0.
