Apple removes jailbreak detection API, hacker adds ASLR security

It’s pretty clear that Steve Jobs and the rest of the team in Cupertino aren’t exactly fans of people who go around jailbreaking iOS devices. They’d much rather you stay inside the confines of the controlled Apple ecosystem. Strangely enough, though, Apple has decided to pull the jailbreak detection API for its afforded options.

Jailbroken iPad plays Super Mario World and Mario Kart

What could be the best game to hit the magical Apple tablet, Super Mario World for Super NES, is made available by jailbreaking the iPad and then running the Cydia app. Although unconfirmed, the use of the WiiMote on the iPad does seem do-able, considering it is Bluetooth and all. The second app SNES4iPhone shows Super Mario Kart on the iPad, the downside to this one is that you have to use the touchscreen controller.
