Beta Evernote 5 on the Mac was a good indicator that the team was working on a new version for iOS users, and now only a few days later, we have it.  Evernote 5 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch is redesigned and released with major functions added, home screen sections, Quick Notes, and Views.

Retina Displays Coming to 13-Inch MacBook Pro This Fall

Apple Plans To Pull Siri Competitor, Evi, From The App Store

While it is hard to find a voice assistant even close to being as stable and capable as Siri, there is one app that actually comes pretty close, and that’s True Knowledge’s Evi. While the device has been known for having server connection problems here and there, I can attest to the fact that at least the Android version is very good, when I can get it to connect the server properly.

Apple iOS Ends 2011 With 52% Share Of Mobile Web Browsing

It appears like iOS users are the ones who are crazy about mobile web browsing. According to the latest data, Apple’s operating system has finished 2011 on top with a 52.1 percent market share of mobile web, although that’s a fall from a 54.06 percent lead back in January 2011.
