Android in Space? Nexus One Powering Nano-Satellite Program

That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for the Nexus One. That’s right, the two year old Google Nexus One is making its way into space. No, astronauts aren’t taking the phone into space so they can get their Angry Birds Stars Wars on, instead they are basically launching the phone into space as part of the “PhoneSat Program”.

Nokia’s Lumia 920 Windows 8 Phone Leaked

Earlier today we reported on the leaked HTC 8x, now comes yet another Windows Phone 8 device- this time by Nokia. Windows Phone is far from the leader of the mobile market, but WP8 has recently started to get more and more attention focused on it as of late. When it comes to WP devices, Nokia has certainly emerged as the de facto leader, pushing the WP standard to the highest level possible. The new Nokia Lumia 920 will likely not be any different. We don’t know tons about the upcoming phone yet, but we do have a little information about the hardware involved.

HTC Tweaks Phones to Avoid Apple Patents

About a year ago, a judge ruled that HTC was in violation of an Apple patent due to just how closely their “tap system” works in comparison to Apple’s. With this system, you click on a number, text message, or whatever and it gives you a choice of what to do. After the ruling, HTC vowed to make a tweak that would get around this infringement in future Android devices.

HTC’s New One Series Apparently Has Some Design Flaws

It seems that HTC’s new “One” series isn’t as great as everyone thought it’d be, thanks to a few design flaws that have been spotted on both the One X and S. Apparently the One X has color discoloration issues near the edge of the display and due to the design it is easy enough to accidentally make wrong selections on the screen. According to CNET, they tested four individual headsets and all of them apparently had this same issue.
