With all the iPhone 4 glitz and glamour out there, some other options may get left behind. The HTC Droid Incredible which we looked at just a few weeks back is quite the challenger, but the EVO seems to be a more advanced offering from HTC. There’s also the possibility of a new Google phone, perhaps a Nexus 2, coming to combat the iPhone 4. So what gives you that charged and static feeling?more →
This week, I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time with the new DROID Incredible by HTC. Being an iPhone user myself, enslaved by AT&T, I look at the Droid (and Verizon) through the eyes of a newbie to the whole experience. From the moment I took this little Incredible piece of tech out of the box, I was blown away at what life could be like without an iPhone….not bad.more →
We knew this phone was coming and now it’s finally here. The Droid Incredible by HTC has officially launched with Verizon Wireless, offering some crazy speeds and functionality. You may have once known it simply as the HTC Incredible, the Droid Incredible could actually be even better than the Google Nexus One in many ways. Other highlights include heavy social media integration, Android Market access, and high-speed 3G connectivity.more →
For a while there, we were told that a version of the Google Nexus One would be devised to work with the Verizon Wireless network. That made sense, since the two GSM versions of the Nexus One only worked with AT&T and T-Mobile. Well, as it turns out, Verizon isn’t getting a Nexus One after all.
That’s not to say that Verizon isn’t getting a snappy Android phone, however. In an official statement from Google, they said that they “won’t be selling a Nexus One with Verizon,” but they are encouraging customers to buy the Droid Incredible by HTC instead.more →
Yesterday we got wind of Verizon Wireless offering the HTC Incredible as the Droid Incredible by HTC. We also learned of the specs and a release date window. Today, we gain access to a very important piece of information: the price. Verizon Wireless will be selling the Droid Incredible for $200 in stores April 29. Naturally, that’s the price you’ll pay with a new qualifying two-year contract with big red, and not the outright price if you choose to go without a service agreement.more →
Your search for a super powerful smartphone on a reliable network just may be coming to an end. This announcement comes completely out of left field, but it seems that the sultry HTC Incredible will be making its way to Verizon by the end of the month. To match up with its stablemates, the phone is changing names to the Droid Incredible by HTC.
This way, the “Droid” naming scheme can remain intact over at Verizon Wireless for all of its Google Android smartphones. You already have the Motorola Droid and the Droid Eris, so why not throw in the Droid Incredible too.more →
