What? You thought NVIDIA Tegra2 was the only tablet-friendly dual core processor on the block? We already heard about the new Samsung Exynos 4210 processors a while back, but now we can see it in action on an actual real life tablet. And she’s a beauty.

Developed by Hard Kernel of Korea, the ODROID-A is simply a reference platform and not a final retail product. Even so, the dev kit of a tablet comes with some rather impressive specs. Beyond the Samsung-sourced dual core processor, you’ll also find that the 10.1-inch screen has a 1366×768 resolution, which puts it on par with many notebooks. Pretty nice.

Other highlights include the transparent rear panel, dual microSD slots, HSPA+ connectivity (via Ericsson), HDMI out, USB 2.0, dual cameras, and a 9000mAh battery that should last you through a few sessions of Angry Birds. Expect to see the $750 tablet by the end of March… just not through regular retail channels.
