Apple creaes controller patent for iPhone devices

ipad-patent.200

One of the biggest knocks at the iPhone as a gaming device is the lack of some sort of control buttons. With no gaming buttons, it can be difficult to control a game, as there is no feel to the iPhone’s current controller: the touch screen. This is especially prevalent in the Zenonia games. What was once a strictly D-pad controlled game with just a few touch options, has been vastly enhanced with even more touch options and menus putting the iPhones capacitive display to real use. It needs a little getting used to, but I believe the touch changes are for the better.

PlayStation Move Joysticks

Sony has now announced a three dish buffet for it’s motion controller called the PlayStation Move, a standalone Move controller, or a package with the PlayStation Eye + Move + a game, or an entire console. Couch potatoes are warned: gone are the days of button mashing and exercising your wrists and fingers only. Where the PlayStation Move stands apart from the Wii is its fewer buttons and no cable!
