It seems that Samsung just can’t stay out of the press. Just over a week after the Galaxy S4 was lauched, rumor has it that Samsung is working on a Galaxy Tab 3 Plus with a whole lot to offer.

SamMobile is reporting that the Plus tablet will be a high end tablet with a 10.1″ or 11.6″ Super AMOLED HD display. Although the latter choice sounds a bit large, it is still a possibility with pixel resolutions going through the roof.

Moving to the inside, SamMobile has confirmed that this tablet will be carrying the full Exynos 5 generation chip. This chip was supposed to be the main feature of the Galaxy S4. However, the North American version was instead loaded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip.

The new chip, if it is featured in the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, would offer 8 cores and superior processing ability. Sam Mobile also mentioned that it is highly likely that “Samsung could unveil the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus at IFA 2013 in Berlin, along with the Galaxy Note III”. IFA 2013 is scheduled to take place from 6 to 11 September 2013.

Has the tablet war already ended, or is it just getting started? How do you think a high-end tablet will do in a market moving towards low-end devices? Let us know in the comments below.

Leaked benchmarks point at a possible 2560 x 1600 resolution on the flagship model of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet, alongside two other models.

The post Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with 2560×1600 in the works? appeared first on Mobile Magazine.

Samsung had a stellar 2012, and judging from what we have been hearing 2013 is shaping up to be equally as monumental. While most of the Korean company’s success has come from Android phones, namely the Galaxy S3 and Note 2, their range of Android tablets are also stacking up very well too.

We already knew that a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 was in the works, but now thanks to details discovered by Techkiddy we could be looking forward to three new Sammy tablets, with a flagship model sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1600.

After some careful decoding it appears the three tablets are named GT-P3200, GT-P5200 and the GT-P8200 which is packing the extra pixels. From the details it appears the GT-3200 will offer the same 1280×800 as the current 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 2, but it’s unsure what the GT-5200 is packing.

Hopefully further details will be released in the run up to MWC where we hope to see the new tablets along some possible new phones.

As we reported last week, Samsung is in the process of creating a new 7-inch tablet to be unveiled during MWC next month. Based on what we are hearing, it appears that Samsung will be creating a 7 inch version and a 10 inch version named the Galaxy Tab 3. Usually Samsung reserves the use of numbers in names to reflect the size, but it’s early yet and the name could definitely be changed. Rumors suggest the tablet will have a quad core processor, 5MP rear facing camera and come in a 32GB and 64GB option. Another rumor is also circulating that they could bail on the 7 inch version, either way it should be a solid tablet.

Digitimes reported be tipped off to the price of the Galaxy Tab 3 being only $149 for the base model and surprisingly only $199 for the supped up version. Keep in mind that DigiTimes has a pretty mixed reputation for rumors, so take this all with a chunk of salt. With MWC right around the corner, we will hopefully have some clear answers soon enough.

IF this killer low pricing proves true, would you pick up one or not?
