The Galaxy S 3 is expected to be Samsung’s answer to the Apple iPhone 4S and most likely will also compete against the rumored iPhone 5. We have already seen a lot of rumors regarding the release date of the much anticipated Android device, and today we have got yet another hint, which suggests that the device might indeed be unveiled next month as previously rumored.

As you may remember, we reported earlier about a leak which hinted a May 22nd London launch for the S 3. Today’s info is suggesting the same. The invitation to a launch event you see above, which shows the half of a new device, was circulated by a Korean website and the words on it are more than enough to get all Android fans excited.

We are not sure whether this is the real deal, but looking at the image, we can see that the render is not exaggerated like some previous renders. Not too much about the handset is shown, possibly to let everyone imagine about what the handset will look like and get excited, if the render is real that is.

This is what Eldar Murtazin has to say on the matter (via Twitter): “My comment about this sgs3 pic….hmmm no comments :-) what do u think? Real or fake?”.

That combination of “no comments” with a smiley face might be his way of confirming things.

There are no hints about the specs of the handset, but we do know that it will have a quad-core processor. Previous rumors have suggested that the S3 will come with ICS, a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display, 2GB of RAM, and a 2250mAh battery.

Samsung unveiled some new devices at the MWC 2012, but it is certainly a disappointment that the much anticipated Galaxy S3 did not make it for the event. We are hoping that Samsung would make up for this by bringing out a handset that is worth the wait. And it appears like that is what they are planning to do. The latest info suggests that the company is thinking about something big.

According to these rumors, which come to us courtesy of BGR, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S3 will be released in over 50 “markets or cities” simultaneously and will boast a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor (will be a small surprise if they do not go for a third-party model). That is a much needed addition if the company wants to do well on the market against the newly unveiled monster device from HTC.

The S3 will apparently feature a whopping 4.8 inch “full HD” 1080p resolution display with 16:9 aspect ratio. That means movies will be amazing on the new screen. The S3 will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will be 4G LTE capable too.

The 8-megapixel rear camera (we wonder what Eldar Murtazin was playing with earlier) will stay the same. There is also a 2-megapixel front-shooter aimed at high resolution video calls. If that back cam doesn’t impress you, check out this one.

And the device’s entire back will be made out of ceramic, which is a pretty interesting choice if these rumors become true.

But, as always, we recommend you taking this with a grain of salt. But there is nothing unbelievable about these rumors, we are digging for more info on the upcoming handset, so stay tuned for updates.

Samsung had to think big when planning the next in their “S” series line of Android smartphones to keep up with the rich traditions already established by the Galaxy S, S II and the Galaxy Note. It seems that Galaxy S3 will indeed be a monster, powered by a Quad-Core chipset capable of speeds in the range of 1.6 GHz. The picture gets even more enticing with industry expert Eldar Murtazin claiming through Twitter that he has got his hands on an S III and is bowled over by what it offers.

While mortals get to look at S III in a month or so when it gets unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Murtazin is apparently taking the newbie from Samsung through its paces. Of course, you guys will have to wait till you get to taste the Ice Cream Sandwich-run S III, signs suggesting that the smartphone will be launched first in the US, but not before April this year.

Mutazin’s tweet says the S III will have a 12MP camera and not a 16MP one as rumored earlier. It is not clear at the moment whether Samsung would stick with its tendency to stretch the screen (going by the size of Nexus and Note). Most probably the HD interface of the S III will be slightly bigger than S II, but not exactly in the range of Note, which should make it a fun device to have.

[ source ]

This Eldar guy must have a thing for a certain cell phone maker in Finland, because it seems like he is leaking a new Nokia phone every other day. He reviewed the N8 before it was released, he leaked the Nokia N9 (which may or may not be the same as the E7), and now he’s leaking the X7 with AT&T branding.

Yup, leak-happy Russian technology analyst Eldar Murtazin has yet another unannounced and unofficial look at yet another Nokia smartphone. Now, he’s not the first to leak this phone — we already saw a video of the device — but this is the first time we’ve seen it with carrier-specific branding.

You can quite plainly see the AT&T logo emblazoned near the top of the phone. If that’s the case, then it’s likely that this phone will end up on the shelves at Rogers Wireless in Canada too.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say that the Nokia X7 represents the second (or even third) coming of the N-Gage line, but the X7 is being positioned as a “gaming” phone with its quad speakers and such. How will it fare against the PlayStation Phone? Time will tell, and the longer Nokia holds out from adopting Android, the worse it gets.
