If so, you certainly aren’t an ambitious collector with money to burn. Recently two sellers put up an original, first-gen iPhone in factory-sealed glory at the massive price of $10,000.

Image search coming to eBay mobile apps a la Google Goggles

I wouldn’t say that I use it terribly often, but Google Goggles is an amazing little app. I take a picture of something — almost anything — and it will recognize what it is. If it’s a product, I can then do a quick online search for reviews and pricing information. eBay wants to do the same thing with its mobile apps.

Prototype MacBook Pro with 3G reaches $30K on eBay, gets pulled

An eBay auction has been spotted revealing a never before launched MacBook Pro prototype. This MacBook is somewhat sought after, as it a built-in 3G cellular data radio to provide wireless connectivity anywhere, it seems Apple had worked on this 4 years ago as a possible feature upgrade to its MacBook Pro line, but we all know that never came to fruition.

Swedish photojournalist’s old Leica sells for $104,000 on eBay

The eBay auction of an old, tattered antique camera closed Friday for $104,000. The 55-year-old Leica MP-36 camera was once the property of famous Swedish photojournalist Leif Engberg, who’s covered (among others) the Soviet invasion in Czeckoslovakia 1968, the war in Vietnam, the civil war in Biafra, the war between India and Pakistan over East Pakistan (Bangladesh), conflicts in Eritrea, Ethiopia, South Africa, Central and South America, Balkan regions and the Middle East.

eBay Instant Sale recycles old gadgets, gives you cash

It’s not exactly the most novel idea, but neither were touchscreen phones when the iPhone first emerged. Look where that led us. It seems that the folks at eBay want to do a little something for the environment, so they’ve launched a new gadget recycling program that puts a little extra spending money in your pocket.

eBay releases iPhone selling app, iPad app coming Saturday

eBay today announced the release of two new free apps for the Apple iPhone. The first app is a seller tool, it will allow members to easily snap a photo of a product on their iPhone camera, enter some basic auction information, and list it on the eBay marketplace. Their second app is a bit of a stab at Craigslist, as it’s the new eBay Classifieds application. This one lets you post free ads on the eBayClassifieds.com website for local buyers.

And don’t forget, with the recent release of the PayPal mobile app, you can quickly pay for your items from either eBay site.
