There are all kinds of wonderfully geek products at ThinkGeek, from NES-themed pillow sets to lightsaber-themed umbrellas. If you’ve been eyeing some gear at ThinkGeek, now might be a good time to buy, because they’re offering both free shipping and a free shirt with your order.

There is a catch, of course, but it’s all quite par for the online shopping course. To take advantage of free shipping with ThinkGeek, you’ll need to place a minimum order of $25. If you do that and enter FIREFLOWER in the coupon code area, then you’ll get free shipping to the contiguous United States. They haven’t said when this offer is expiring aside from saying it’ll expire “soon.” You cannot stack coupons on top of this.

The other offer is the free t-shirt at ThinkGeek. To get the free Legend of Penny t-shirt, you’ll need to place a minimum order of $40. That’s really not that much more than the $25 you’ll already be spending to get the free shipping, so you might as well do it. And yes, this will still qualify for the free shipping. You just have to enter the same FIREFLOWER promo code. Just bear in mind that the Legend of Penny shirt will only be offered “while supplies last.”

It’s not very often that you find substantial savings on MacBooks, so it’s always pretty noteworthy when you do. Case in point is this 13.3″ MacBook Pro with Retina Display. It just so happens to be on sale for a pretty substantial $499 off. That brings the price down to $1,419.99.

There are several SKUs and configurations of the MBP, so which version do you get for that price? This Retina MacBook Pro comes loaded with a dual core Intel Core i5 2.5GHz processor, an impressive 8GB of RAM, 256GB of flash storage and Intel HD Graphics 4000. This is certainly one of the higher spec’d models. You also get the usual things like Bluetooth 4.0, 720p FaceTime camera, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, and a 74Wh lithium-polymer battery good for 7 hours of computing. And yes, the 13.3-inch screen is a Retina Display, boasting a resolution of 2560 x 1600. That’s better than your 1080p HDTV on a much smaller screen.

You can buy it now from MacMall.com. If that particular configuration doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can choose to customize the MacBook Pro from that same page, picking a faster processor and more flash storage, as well as adding Parallels, Office, a USB SuperDrive and more.

Most of us know that if you want a relatively inexpensive Android tablet, you have several options. The Galaxy Tab series can be affordably priced and then there’s the Nexus 7 that starts at $199. But what if you want something bigger, perhaps with a 10-inch screen? Those usually cost more.

If you’re in the market for a 10.1-inch Android tablet and you don’t want to make any real sacrifices on quality or performance, the Asus MeMo Pad Smart ME301T-A1-BL could be just the thing. The tablet sells for just $299.99, making it $100 cheaper than the Google Nexus 10. For that money, you get the 10.1-inch IPS display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, along with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Like the entry-level Nexus 10, this also has 16GB of flash memory, but there is a microSD slot in there for expanded storage.

Rounding out the main specs are the 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, and the usual array of wireless radios, sensors and inputs. As an added bonus, Asus is providing 5GB of free WebStorage for life. The slick package weighs in at 1.28 pounds and is 0.39 inches thin.

It only officially launched earlier this month, so head over to Amazon.com to buy the Asus MeMo Pad Smart now. You can get it in your choice of pink or blue for the same $299.99 price point, including free super saver shipping.

When it comes to LED and plasma televisions, Samsung is one of the biggest industry leaders. If you’re in the market for a new big-screen TV, there’s a great deal being offered where you’ll get a brand new Galaxy Tab 2 for free as part of the bundle.

The free Galaxy Tab 2 deal is being offered by Amazon and all you have to do to take advantage of the offer is to add both the TV and the tablet to your shopping cart. Go through the checkout as your normally would and the discount will be applied during that process. The free tablet being offered is the 7-inch Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab 2, running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and a microSD expansion slot for up to 32GB more. It’s a $199.99 value.

The smallest of the TVs that are eligible for this offer is the 46-inch Samsung UN46ES8000 Slim LED and that’s selling for $1,299.99. Other options include 55-inch, 60-inch, and even 64-inch TVs as both Slim LED or plasma. The largest of the bunch is the 64-inch UN64ES8000 and that’s listed at $2,894.70. These are all Smart TVs.

Head over to Amazon to have a look. The promotion ends at 11:59pm PST on March 2, so you’ll need to hurry.

If you’re looking for a greener way to sustain your digital lifestyle, then you may want to consider the assortment of solar power products that are on the market. Here are seven such examples that all happen to be on sale. Save money and energy!

We start off with two add-on solar charging panel extensions for the ReVIVE series solar ReStore XL external battery pack. This allows you to triple your solar charging speed. It’s on sale for half price at $24.99.

Of course, you’ll need the actual ReVIVE Solar ReStore XL battery itself to use those extra panels. It’s on sale too as part of a package that includes the 6000mAh universal USB battery, a flashlight, and the rapid charge adapter panel. Pick it up for $59.99, which is $90 off the regular price.

If you want to go smaller, the 4000mAh ReVIVE Solar ReStore XL is also on sale, giving you that same universal USB charging port to support iPhones, MP3 players, e-readers and all sorts of other portable products. Get it for $49.99, down from a list price of $109.99.

Switching gears, we have the Goal Zero 19006 Guide 10 Adventure Kit. This includes the Nomad 7 solar panel and a Guide 10 power pack, which bundles in four AA rechargeable batteries too. There’s a built-in LED flashlight to boot. It’s on sale for $99.95, a savings of $60.

Keeping time can be green too. The Casio AWGM100B-1ACR G-Shock Tough solar power atomic watch is a pretty nifty product. Naturally, the watch side of the equation is up to snuff too with quartz movement, three sub-dials, and luminiscent hands and markers. Get it for $149.00, including free shipping.

Going on a trip and need some power? Consider the Instapark SPCC-30W mono-crystalline solar panel with 12V solar charge controller. This should retain 80% efficiency even after 25 years of continuous use. Buy it for half price at $99.70 with free super saver shipping.

Last but not least, we have something completely different. It’s the OWI Frightened Grasshopper Kit. It’s a little toy bug that happens to be solar powered and it’s a great “built-it-yourself educational solar hobby kit for the first time science experimenters with little or no experience.” It’s on sale for only $3.99, down from $14.99.

Are you interested in getting yourself a new Windows RT tablet, but you’re not that big a fan of the Microsoft Surface? Fear not, because the ASUS VivoTab RT TF600T-B1-GR 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet is on sale now for $200 off the regular price.

The Asus VivoTab RT runs on Windows RT, giving you that big “Start Screen” experience and it comes preloaded with a version of Microsoft Office for your mobile productivity. Power comes by way of an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core 1.3GHz processor, 32GB of flash memory and 2GB of RAM. There’s an 8MP camera on the back, a 2MP camera on the front, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, microSD expansion, and a slim 0.33-inch profile.

Much like the Microsoft Surface, there is also an optional keyboard dock for the Asus VivoTab, so you can get that full laptop-like experience when you need it, detaching the keyboard for a full-on tablet experience when you don’t. And it’s an Asus, so you’ll know that it’s built well too.

Regularly retailing for $599, the Asus VivoTab RT is now on sale for $399, including free super saver shipping from Amazon. If you buy the tablet, there’s also a limited time offer to get the accompanying keyboard dock for 50% off too.

Remember when having an 8GB flash drive was quite the monumental thing? Flash memory has certainly come a long way and this has helped a lot with reducing cost too, as is the case with this 64GB flash drive from Transcend. It’s on sale for half price.

The Transcend 64GB JetFlash 500 retractable USB flash drive is no larger than the standard “slider” style USB drives that you’ve seen before, but this one happens to boast that incredible 64GB of memory. That’s the same size as some solid state drives you find in many Ultrabooks these days! Performance is right on par with what you’d expect, giving you read and write speeds of up to 19MB/s and 7MB/s, respectively.

The 64GB version of the Transcend JetFlash 500 is on sale for $37.99, compared to its regular retail price of $72.25. You can choose between the standard retail packaging or Amazon’s “Frustration-Free” packaging and the drive comes with that free Super Saver Shipping too.

If you don’t need 64GB, the other capacities are also on sale for about half price or better as well. Of course, the 64GB is the best deal though.

I know what you’re thinking, because it’s probably the same thing I was thinking: that doesn’t look like a regular router at all. Well, truth be told, the D-Link DIR-826L is a little different than conventional wireless routers and it’s on sale right now.

The D-Link DIR-826L is a wireless-N600 dual band gigabit router, but you’ll also notice that it’s called a “cloud” router. That’s because it’s possible for you to monitor your wireless network from anywhere in the world by using the available cloud apps.

As far as the regular router duties go, the D-Link Cloud Router 2000 boasts wireless-N speeds of up to 600Mbps, plus four Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired networking. The coverage is broad, thanks in part to the high-powered amplifier and the setup process is made easy with “a few clicks in your browser or a few taps on your iPad or iPhone.”

The D-Link Cloud Router 2000 (DIR-826L) normally retails for $129.99, but it’s on sale now for $77.73 through Amazon, including that free super saver shipping that we’ve come to expect.

When it comes to the world of Bluetooth headsets, Motorolas are among some of the best. Two such headsets are now on sale, giving you a great price on your choice of the Motorola Oasis or the Motorola H17txt.

Normally selling for $79.99, the Motorola Oasis is on sale for $44.86. This uniquely shaped Bluetooth headset has an extended boom with dual microphones, which is meant to provide better noice cancellation. There are audible prompts for when you are connected, as well as to tell you the phone is ringing and to provide you with the current battery level. Interestingly, it’s also possible to connect to two different phones at the same time, which is great for people who have both a business and a personal phone.

Alternatively, you can pick up the Motorola H17txt for $29.99, which is an impressive 70% off the regular retail price of $99.99. The “txt” part of the name indicates that this Motorola Bluetooth headset will read your text messages to you, including the name of the sender. It comes with multiple ear hooks for a customized fit and it features CrystalTalk dual mic technology to cancel background noise.
