BlackBerry demo’d Trails today at DevCon. Trails is a visualization experience of aggregated data through time. It makes viewing an extreme amount of data easier and more functional. Contacts, BBM, calendar information, whatever you have communicated and with whomever you have communicated is turned into a beautiful visual experience. BlackBerry wants this to be an alternative to typical lists of information we are used to sifting.

Mystery Blackberry Shows Up in Beijing

A Blackberry design that was thought to be a fake version of the RIM phone has reappeared either as a third-party overhaul or a discarded prototype. We can’t say for sure, but whoever got a hold of it over at MaxPDA thinks it’s a Blackberry 9980. The phone possesses a chiseled, metallic look reminiscent of Porsche Design’s work.

In BlackBerry’s latest promotional video, the company accidentally showed off clips of their event guests sending messages on what looks like an HTC Incredible 2 — an Android phone. The company quickly pulled the video, but not before Phandroid.com managed to download it to YouTube.

UK police getting help from RIM to find London rioters

The BlackBerry 7 lineup coming to AT&T and Sprint

Fourth BlackBerry PlayBook Update Available Later This Week

The newest update from RIM offers several new functions and features. First, you can now do the pinch-to-zoom thing while watching videos. You can also finally view your photos in portrait mode, save attachments to your SD card or your phone’s internal memory, and go international with support for 15 additional languages.

Apple launched the iPad just over one year ago, and in that time sold 14.8 million units or more.
