Virtually Eliminate Wandering People.. From Your Future Smartphone Photographs (Video)

If you don’t want random strangers crowding your precious photographic memories, check out what Swedish photography firm Scalado has come out with.  The app called Remove, claims to be the world’s first optical removal software for smartphones.  Scalado says the new app will help you remove unwanted moving subjects from your photographs. It works just like you would imagine it to. The Remove app takes burst of shots in succession, you will have to keep the camera still on the person or thing you are taking a photo of. It then recognizes the moving objects in the frame by comparing the different shots, then it will highlight the objects in motion allowing you to select the ones you want to be removed. The final product will be a perfect photo of just your dear loved ones.

The same thing is expanding with Barnes & Noble too with the introduction of the nook for Android app. As you can probably figure out, this Google Android app will grant you access to just about everything that the Barnes & Noble nook has to offer. You’ll need to have Android 1.6 or higher, but it means that you can shop for over a million titles including new releases and free eBooks.

Tissot launches augmented reality app for virtual watch shopping

Do you want to buy a new watch but you can’t be bothered to go to a physical store to try them on? Tissot just may have the answer for you in the form of their new augmented reality app. You can watch the video below to get a better sense of how it works, but you basically print out a paper watch that will give your webcam a point of reference. After launching the app you can browse through the Tissot watch collection. Each time you click on one, it will magically “appear” on your wrist.
