Verizon launches DROID BIONIC by Motorola today

The Motorola Droid Bionic finally got an official release date a little while ago and that release date is today. Now we have to ask if the Bionic was really worth the long wait. Yes, the claim is that the Droid Bionic will “rule all machines” and it is only available at Verizon Wireless, but we also have to realize that this phone was announced way back at CES in January. That’s eight months ago and a lot has changed in those eight months.

Google Docs Android app updated with Web Clipboard

I was pleased to hear that the Google Docs app for Android has been updated with some new features, the most notable of which is Web Clipboard. The sad news is that it’s not quite as good as I had hoped. Basically, it allows you to snap a photo from your phone and have it uploaded to the Web Clipboard. From there, you have to go to your computer and open up the GDoc of choice to insert the image.
