The recently revealed Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook clearly borrows some of its styling inspiration from the MacBook Air and possibly the Asus UX-series. The thin metal design narrows down to just 1.3cm at its thinnest point, but you still get a 13.3-inch HD LED display and the full-size Acer FineTip chiclet keyboard.

I’m not completely sure what Rogers is doing with the Fido brand these days, but it looks like the dog is becoming a mid-tier brand to fit between budget-minded Chatr and higher-end Rogers. This is further confirmed by the pending release of the Acer Liquid E smartphone with Fido.

Expansys gets exclusive on Acer Stream Android phone

The latest manufacturer to join forces with Google’s Android OS is Acer and their newest smartphone, the Stream. Unlike so many of its counterparts, its exclusivity isn’t with a specific carrier; it’s with a store. I thought this was a bit of an odd move, but it seems that online store Expansys UK will be the only place you can buy the Acer Stream Android phone when it launches on August 9th.

Acer, Ferrari unveil Liquid E Android smartphone, 64-bit Ferrari One netbook

Acer has teamed up with Ferrari to manufacture the Liquid E Ferrari special edition smartphone. The device comes loaded with Ferrari-themed content, like videos, photos and ringtones of Ferrari engines, in addition to the obvious external themed Ferrari red color and emblem.
