4G booster to bring farmers up to speed

Wilson Electronics is bringing some of that innovation a little closer to home with their announcement of a new product line of 4G signal boosters. The 4G AWS is the first product up for release and it boosts signals on the Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) spectrum band. It’s intended for indoor installations, whether for home or office, and it will strengthen the connection range and also increase transfer speeds in places that are subject to a weaker signal.

US T-Mobile Galaxy Tab hacked to make calls

Of late, a move by Samsung has eliminated the option of making phone calls from all Galaxy Tab devices destined for the US market. While Galaxy Tab pieces built in Europe and elsewhere came with no such restrictions on either outgoing or incoming calls, American users were denied the luxury of making calls from their Galaxy Tab tablets.

I’m on the fence with jailbreaking. I’ve done it on many devices, but is it worth it in the end? Sure, you get access to apps you may not have had access to on your “factory sealed” model, but then you lose support and are in a constant fight for the latest jailbreak.
