Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S) headed to Verizon tomorrow

Loaded with a 1Ghz processor, Android 2.1 and skinned with TouchWiz – whether that’s a good thing or bad is up to you – Samsung is sending the Fascinate to Verizon Wireless.  The Fascinate is Verizon’s specific brand of the Galaxy S, it will sell for $200 on-contract.

Leaked: Verizon Wireless roadmap for 2010-2011 has Motorola Android tablet, Droid Pro

Verizon is already becoming a preferred home for many Android smartphones, like the Droid Incredible and Droid X, but it seems that Motorola has another one bound for VZW called the Motorola DROID Pro. This’ll rock a 1.3GHz processor, four-inch touchscreen, and global roaming, quite possibly putting the Droid X to shame. Expect to see this in November.

Specs leaked for Samsung Galaxy Q Android smartphone

It’s still a rumored device for now, but this Android 2.2 phone sounds like it could seriously be a hot one. For starters, you get a 3.0-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display to go with the full QWERTY keyboard and optical touchpad. Some people are saying that this lends itself to a slider, but a BlackBerry-esque bar phone could very well be possible too. Remember the Samsung Epix? Maybe like that, but so much newer and nicer.

Microsoft Windows Phone 7 to launch for the ‘holidays’ with plenty of hardware choices

Microsoft has revealed additional hardware partners for their Windows Phone 7 OS, announcing that Dell and HTC are now on the list of manufactuers who will be making Windows Phone 7 phones. This is good news for the company, who have already got Asus, Samsung and LG to pony up a few devices. You can expect something from each of the companies before the year is out; while no set date on the official launch day of Windows Phone 7 is keeping us in suspense.
