Good news for Android users! Touchtype, the creator of one of Android’s favorite keyboards has announced that SwiftKey will be coming to Android Honeycomb tablets.

We knew that just about everyone was jumping on board this newfound goldmine, but we had no idea how big this would become. How big? Well, there were over 100 new tablets revealed at CES 2011.

Motorola XOOM minimum advertised price pegged at $800

If you were hoping that Motorola’s Honeycomb-powered tablet would be able to undercut the pricing of the iEquivalent, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. A leaked Verizon memo seems to indicate that the minimum advertised price (MAP) for the XOOM tablet is a cool $799.

Samsung Galaxy Tab drops to $299 on contract with Sprint

Even though it hasn’t been out for all that long, it seems that the price is starting to take some mild dips on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Maybe this is because we’re in the wake of an Android tablet overload from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Whatever the case, Sprint has lowered the price on the 7-inch tablet to $299.

Motorola Mobility’s Xoom tablet powered by Google’s tablet-specific Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) topped the polls and was named the best gadget at CES 2011. Combining beautifully-crafted hardware and the right OS, we couldn’t agree with this assessment more.
