Samsung Galaxy Tab drops to $299 on contract with Sprint

Even though it hasn’t been out for all that long, it seems that the price is starting to take some mild dips on the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Maybe this is because we’re in the wake of an Android tablet overload from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Whatever the case, Sprint has lowered the price on the 7-inch tablet to $299.

4G booster to bring farmers up to speed

Wilson Electronics is bringing some of that innovation a little closer to home with their announcement of a new product line of 4G signal boosters. The 4G AWS is the first product up for release and it boosts signals on the Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) spectrum band. It’s intended for indoor installations, whether for home or office, and it will strengthen the connection range and also increase transfer speeds in places that are subject to a weaker signal.

Having a mobile hotspot is pretty useful when you’re traveling across the country with your laptop (and iPad) in tow. Having a mobile hotspot capable of latching onto the 4G WiMAX network from Sprint is even better, and that seems to be happening with the Novatel-sourced Sprint 3G/4G MiFi 4082 pictured here.

HTC Incredible HD with 4G bound to Verizon on January 6

I think the image provided here is pretty clear. There’s not too much ambiguity about it unless they really want to throw us into a loop. If this image is to be believe, the kind folks at HTC will be formally unveiling the HTC Incredible HD on January 6 and the smartphone will play happy with the newfangled Verizon LTE 4G network.

AT&T agrees to pay almost $2 billion for Qualcomm FLO TV spectrum

Yes, the guys at Groupon may have turned down a multi-billion dollar offer from Google, but Qualcomm knows a good deal when it sees that. Apparently, Qualcomm has agreed to sell the wireless spectrum it once dedicated to FLO TV for a whopping $1.925 billion. And the buyer? None other than the iPhone-touting AT&T.
