iPhone 5 4G LTE Version Coming to UK’s new EE 4G LTE Service

T-Mobile and Orange recently announced they were coming together with EE to bring 4G LTE to the United Kingdom. At the time of the announcement they planed to roll out several great devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE, Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820, and others. That wasn’t it though, one device was purposely left off: the iPhone 5.

Waiting for Fido to Launch its 4G LTE service? It’s Now Live

While Rogers has had LTE available in Canada for a while now, it has been slow to share the LTE love with its faithful companion, Fido. Earlier this year, we looked at hints of Fido getting 4G LTE, and last month Fido even officially stated that 4G LTE was coming soon. Roger’s budget sub-brand is now finally catching up to speed with 4G LTE, with service in Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Saint John’s, Toronto and Vancouver all going live today.

T-Mobile Takes A Jab At AT&T In It’s Latest Commercial

Just a little less than a half-year ago now, AT&T and T-Mobile’s merger fell through, and the struggling T-Mobile was left on its own, with no choice but to pick up the pieces and attempt to rebuild what it had lost in the last few years. Now it seems that T-Mobile’s Carly has gone from pretty pink dresses to a feminine biker in the newest commercial take that uses motorcycles as visual aids to demonstrate how fast T-Mobile’s 4G is versus the current AT&T standard.

Say Hello to the New Apple iPad

As the invite let us know, today was the big day. Apple hosted a special event in San Francisco this morning to unveil the new iPad to the world. Interestingly enough, it is not the iPad 2S, the iPad HD, or even the iPad 3 that we had expected. It’s simply the new iPad. I guess they’ve decided to take the iPod approach to product names moving forward, rather than the iPhone style of naming models.

Telus Joins the Canadian 4G LTE Party

The exact definition of what consistutes 4G is still all kinds of murky, but what is clear is that Telus will be catching up to its Canadian “Big 3″ counterparts today with the launch of its 4G LTE network. Bell and Rogers already launched their respective LTE networks, so it’s only a natural play for Telus to do the same.

The Samsung Galaxy Note was one among the popular devices to be shown off at CES 2012. The device turned out to be quite a head turner with its 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED display and dual-core CPU, and is also 4G LTE enabled.
