India’s wireless carriers pushing for CDMA iPhones

However, the latest rumors are pointing toward a price that could put the Android tablet a little out of reach for the average consumer. We’re now hearing that the sale price is just $399. That’s with a rebate and a data contract. Ouch!

In a never ending game of cat and mouse, a new iOS 4.1 exploit has surfaced, although this version has come from a different crew than we are typically accustomed to and may have some unwanted side effects. Geohot came literally out of nowhere and released limera1n, a bootrom-level jailbreak for the iPhone3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3G/4G, iPad, and technically the AppleTV 2G.

AT&T offers LG Quantum, HTC Surround to Windows Phone 7 line

In addition to the flagship Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 smartphone, AT&T will be offering up the HTC Surround, and LG Quantum. CEO Ralph de la Vega calls them “game changers.” That’s exciting and all with the Windows Phone 7 floodgates now open, but we’ll just have to wait and see them first hand before we start “changing” anything.

HTC HD7 with Windows Phone 7 on T-Mobile mid-November

The Windows Phone 7 train is slowly rolling its way into the T-Mobile station and it looks like one of the first devices to show up at “Magenta” with the new Windows Phone 7 OS is the HTC HD7. You may have seen some leaked photos of this smartphone already, and you may already know it as the Schubert, either way this phone looks pretty sweet with its massive screen real estate of 4.3-inches (largest in USA apparently).

Skype for Android hacked and cracked to allow 3G calling

That Skype app for Android we thought was locked down to Wi-Fi only has just been cracked a few days after its release. The .apk is provided by xeudoxus over at Droid Forums, he tweaked it to get that pesky 3G block off, and apparently its working like a charm.
