Air-powered car featured on CNN, costs $6000
First we had some guy claim that he could get a car to run 100 miles fueled by four ounces of water , and now someone has taken it a lot further. The French inventor claims that their innovative compact car uses -- get this -- compressed-air as fuel. In this way, it is a zero emission vehicle. It's not exactly the type of vehicle you'll want to take for a rip on the drag strip, but it is capable of speeds of up to 100km/h, making the same familiar sounds as a combustion engine without actually combusting anything. Several investors have already paid for licences to use the technology. Could this be the next Smart car?
