Kodak and Skype unveil new Kodak Photo Voice service |

 Kodak and Skype have teamed up to change the way we look at photos with the launch of Kodak Photo Voice. The new service, touted as 'the latest innovation in digital storytelling' merges live voice commentaries and online picture sharing.
If you want to try it out, simply download the Kodak Photo Voice beta version from Kodak's site - www.kodakgallery.com/photovoice. You then choose the photos you like from a Kodak Easyshare Gallery album or from a collection of photos from your PC. After that, just arrange the pictures into a Kodak Photo Voice presentation. You then need speakers and a microphone, and of course, Skype software to start sharing your photos online and start talking about them.
"Today's families and social networks are scattered around the globe. Staying connected through photo sharing remains an important element in maintaining closer personal relationships," according to Kodak Consumer Imaging Services GM Sandra Morris.
Indeed, it does not matter if you live halfway across the globe. You can still share your photos AND talk about them simultaneously with Kodak Photo Voice. But what if your friend or relative wants a print copy of the images you shared? You can place an order for prints via the Kodak Easyshare Gallery and have them sent directly to your friend's or relative's home.
