Verizon Sued for Disabling Bluetooth File Transfer on v710 |

 Verizon Wireless is being sued by customers for disabling the Bluetooth file transfer feature in the Motorola v710 phone, according to a lawsuit filed in California last week.
The missing feature would allow users to send photos or other files to their desktop or pocket device over Bluetooth, with it being disabled, the only way to send your images are over the Verizon network that will incur data transfer fees otherwise being free over Bluetooth.
If you sign a service plan with a company and you use the phone they give you, it could have every feature except the keypad to dial out disabled in my opinion (aslong as they are not offering it in their plan). If you were buying the phone directly from Motorola and the feature was listed in the specifications but disabled afterwards, then you may have a case. But it still is quite sneaky on Verizon's part.
