Sony Ericsson today unveiled the M600 handset. The dual-mode thumbster measures only 15-milimeters and is designed for UMTS and tri-band GSM/GPRS networks. Each key on the QWERTY keyboard handles two letters, one is chosen depending on the angle that you tap it.
The display is a 2.6-inch 262k with 320 x 240 resolution. USB 2.0 support allows for fast transfers of MP3, AAC and video at 30 FPS. No time to transfer? The A2DP profile has been included; this gives users access to stream stereo audio to the M600. Reading emails and viewing high quality video and graphics content is made easy with the 3-way Jog Dial.
80MB of onboard memory for storing your emails, attachments and multimedia files, Sony Ericsson also adds a 64MB Memory Stick Micro to the bundle, their latest ultra-small memory format for compact mobile devices.
Meant to eradicate every other mobile messenger on the market, the M600 is currently developing customized email applications to make your new thumbster a seamless adoption, these include; AlteXia, Ericsson Mobile Office (EMO) (Try and Buy), iAnywhere OneBridge, Intellisync, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, RIM - BlackBerry Connect, Seven, Visto, Standard Email - IMAP IDLE working on all standards compliant servers.
