 Leave it up to Nokia to push the envelope further than it's ever been pushed. We've seen mobile phones that are supposed to be "green", boasting things like solar panels and the like in an effort to save the environment. Even so, the manufacturing process can put a serious dent in Mother Nature's day. Not the Remade, though.
What makes the Nokia Remade Phone Concept particularly unique is that it is constructed entirely from recycled materials. You know those balding tires you gave to the garage and those plastic water bottles you sent off to get your deposit back? Combine all of those elements together and you've pretty much got the Nokia Remade.
This is an effort from the Finnish phonemaker to reduce landfills and minimize our need for natural resources. By and large, the phone is constructed from "upcycled" plastic bottles and aluminum cans, whereas the keypads are made from old rubber tires. I wasn't kidding when I said tires were involved!
