O2 Cocoon Multimedia Phone By Syntes Studio |
|
Although this hot little clamshell is branded as an O2 product, it was actually designed by the team at Syntes Studio. They went through a lot of trouble to not only produce a good-looking handset, but also one that is overflowing with functionality and high-tech doo-dahs. The Syntes Studio website outlines some of the key specs on the O2 Cocoon: here's the gist.
For starters, this is a true world phone with quad-band GSM/GPRS radios to accompany its high-speed 3G with HSDPA connectivity. Because it is geared more toward multimedia, it's also got a music player (MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV), FM radio with RDS, stereo headphones with a 3.5mm jack adapter, stereo Bluetooth, and 15 hours of music player running time. It does its synching through Windows Media Player.
It's already got 2GB of internal memory to get you started, but if you need more space for your tunes, there's also a microSD expansion slot good for another 2 gigs. You'll also find external music controls, external hidden LED display, video calling, video streaming and playback, and a 2 megapixel camera with video. On the inside is a 2.1-inch QVGA 262k color display.
The O2 Cocoon by Syntes Studio measures 94x49x21mm and weighs 114 grams. No word on pricing or availability at this time.
