Kensington Vo200 BT Internet Phone Fills the Gap |

  This has got to be one of the more interesting designs that I've come by in a while, because the Kensington Vo200 BT Internet Phone for VoIP has a flip-out section which reveals... a big gaping gap. It'll work with a whole whack of VoIP services including Skype, Google, AOL, MSN and Yahoo. While it can function just fine attached to a desktop, Kensington designed the Vo200 BT to work best with laptops. How so? Well, you can easily slide this sucker into the PCMCIA slot when it's not in use. They're claiming 3 hours of talk time and 30 hours of standby based on a full charge.
Oh, and if you're wondering what is the purpose of that fold out flap, it's so that you can move the microphone a little closer to your mouth, making your calls just a touch clearer (the "noise suppression technologies and echo cancellation" help as well). It's like a cell phone, sort of. And I think the BT part of its name stands for Bluetooth.
