  Creative has released the MuVo Slim 7mm thick 256MB portable MP3 player with FM radio and recording. The MuVo Slim is no taller or wider than a credit card and includes an elegant black folding case that protects the player from getting damaged.
Featuring a built-in microphone, the MuVo Slim 256MB complements the consummate professional by capturing up to 16 hours of important dictations, conversations and reminders, while safeguarding clever ideas before they're forgotten. Supremely versatile as a business tool, the MuVo Slim 256MB carries more data than 175 floppy disks, for transport of company slide presentations, digital images or voice and music files.
The Creative MuVo Slim features an FM radio with 32 presets, plus FM recording capabilities to record favorite radio shows or songs. The player's removable battery is rechargeable via the player's USB connection, to provide up to 17 hours of continuous playtime.
As a super-sleek portable audio player, the MuVo Slim carries up to eight hours of WMA files at 64kbps or up to four hours of MP3 music with its 256MB of memory built into its durable, solid-state construction. With super-fast USB 2.0 connectivity and simple drag-and-drop transfer without software, the MuVo Slim accepts music files as quickly as a song per second. Crystal-clear music playback at 90dB SNR can be customized with a five-band graphic equalizer with four equalization presets, in addition to included environmental settings of pop, rock, jazz or classical.
With a brilliant blue backlit LCD to illustrate file information and enhance visibility, music and voice files are accessed with a simple scroll through folders, playlists or songs for enjoyment in Play, Shuffle or Resume mode. Together with built-in support for Windows Media Player 9 Series and WMA, the Creative MuVo Slim offers maximum compatibility with a wide range of popular music services, including Best Buy MusicNow, Buy Music, Musicmatch and Napster.
To enable different corporations to leave a lasting professional impression with key customers and top-performing team members, the MuVo Slim can be customized as a corporate gift with capacities of up to 1GB. A tailor-made Creative MuVo Slim can exceed even the most discriminating tastes, providing customized boot-up screen content, silkscreened company logos and a variety of different color choices.
High-quality neodymium earphones are included with the MuVo Slim, and although the player does not require software to transfer files, the player includes Creative MediaSource™ music management software. MediaSource is an easy-to-use application for ripping and burning CDs, organizing entire digital music collections, and easily transferring MP3 and WMA files.
The Creative MuVo Slim 256MB is retailing at US$179.00 and MuVo Slim 128MB is priced at only US$129.00. Both models are available for immediate shipment in Asia through all Creative's retail outlets.
