iRiver has recently unveiled the new iHP-120. The 20GB Hard disc jukebox is capable of playing a new compressed audio format, Ogg Vorbis (Ogg), up to 500Kbps. It's predecessor, the iHP-100 will also support Ogg audio format through a newly released firmware upgrade within October.
The iHP-120 provides a 3D sound technology from SRS Labs, Inc, SRS (Sound Retrieval System). You will experience various sound effects with SRS, SRS WOW and TRUE BASS.
Reading text files on the 8 line LCD and listening to the audio files simultaneously is possible, even read your favorite novels and an important memo while listening to your music.
Voice recording has been improved with AGC (Auto Gain Control), this makes it possible to control the noise level of the environment and enhances the input level of the targeted voice recording source. You can also set the recording quality and record up to 5 hours of single file via in/external microphone.
