  Concord Camera Corp. announced its plans to introduce an entry level 2.0 Megapixel digital camera using Bluetooth technology.
Concord once again will lead the industry with the introduction of the Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless digital camera. Featuring Bluetooth technology, this 2.0 Megapixel camera transmits pictures to specified Bluetooth compatible devices from as far away as 30 feet without a direct line of site being necessary.
Designed and Engineered for Ease of Use
"Our customers requested easy transmission of photos from the camera to a computer, mobile phone and printer. We responded with the Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless. What can be easier than a digital camera that transmits images without cables?" commented Urs W. Stampfli, Senior Vice President and Director of Global Sales & Marketing at Concord Camera Corp. Imagine sending a VGA image to a phone or PDA in approximately six seconds. The Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless makes this possible. Sending from VGA up to 2.0 Megapixel images to a Bluetooth enabled device requires just a few button presses and no cable connections. Bluetooth technology combined with a simple and intuitive user interface provides consumers with the simplicity they demand.
Feature Rich
In addition to featuring Bluetooth compatibility, the Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless is equipped with a 4x digital zoom to capture special moments close up. Virtually unlimited storage is possible with the SD/MMC card slot. The camera also offers the convenience of 7 MB internal memory. Video Clip capability allows active users to capture special moments while the web camera feature offers an array of use for business and personal activities.
Compatibility
The Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless digital camera is compatible with Windows 98SE, 2000, ME, XP and Mac OS 9.0 and higher. Images can be transmitted to some Bluetooth enabled printers, PDAs, and PCs.
Pricing and Availability
The Concord Eye-Q Go Wireless is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2003 at a suggested retail price of $199.99 making advanced technology affordable.
