 Toshiba unveils the Qosmio G35-AV600, its latest 4-in-1 audio-video entertainment laptop. The new notebook features Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with integrated TV tuner, a digital video recorder, and offers users virtual surround-sound stereo. Adding to the impressiveness of this new laptop is that it is the first in the market to feature a 1-bit digital amplifier.
The Qosmio G35-AV600 ships with Dolby Home Theater, which offers users a rich sound experience from stereo and multichannel audio sources regardless of whether one is using his headphones or a 5.1-channel speaker system. The Toshiba notebook also utilizes Bass Reflex Speaker technology from harman/kardon, guaranteeing consumers of crystal clear sound.
The G35-AV600 is powered by an Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology featuring the Intel Core Duo Processor. Clock speed is up to 1.83GHz. Its main memory is made up of 1024MB DDR2 SDRAM. Toshiba laptops are known for producing crystal clear images and this laptop does not disappoint as it features a 256MB DDR2 graphics memory from NVIDIA GeForce 7300. Those great images can be viewed on the laptops 17-inch widescreen, which offers a resolution of 1440x900.
