LG eXPRESs S900 Notebook With Desktop Components |

 I'm more a fan of more portable laptop computers, but there is definitely a huge market for these desktop-replacement creations. LG is taking the whole concept of desktop replacement to a new level by shoving some desktop computer components into their newly created LG eXPRESs S900 laptop computer.
For starters, this thing has a monstrous 19-inch WXGA+ display and they say that the matrix was actually taken from a desktop monitor. The second component that was borrowed from a desk-bound computer was the 3.5-inch hard drive, available in capacities of 250GB and 320GB.
Regarding options and specs, you can outfit the S900 with all sorts of goodies, including an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows Vista, 2GB DDR2 (667MHz) RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT graphics, DVD Super Multi Drive, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, DVB-T, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a multi-card reader. Unfortunately, the battery has been rated at a measly half an hour. I'm not joking.
No word on availability, but we're hearing that the LG eXPRESs S900 notebook will retail for between $1300 and $1750, depending on the configuration.
