Mio 269 Sports 2.5 GB of Storage and MP3 Player |
|
Mio Technology has released a multi-capable GPS device that gives users 2.5 GB of storage space and built-in MP3 player. The Mio 269 is a palm-sized navigation system for anyone wanting to get around and have some fun listening to their music within North America, even Alaska and Hawaii.
Ready to go, the Mio 269 is fully equipped with all your maps and software the first time you power it on. It has 64 MB SDRAM, 32 MB flash ROM, 3.5-inch colour display, Intel 300MHz processor and a 4.5 hour Lithium-Ion battery. Not exactly the best battery life we would want for a GPS, but surely adequate for when you are walking around, exploring or geo-caching without a vehicle to power it.
The 269 measures 5 x 3 x 1-inches thick, and weighs just 8 ounces. You get a travel case, AC and car adapter and USB cable for uploading your MP3 collection. The SD/MMC expansion slot will allow you to add another 1 GB of MP3s.
Selling for $799, the Mio 269 is available from Amazon for pre-order and will ship soon.
