Video: Polymer Vision Demos E-Ink Cell Phone
They're calling it the "Cellular Book". This remarkably compact device sports an e-ink display that works great for reading e-books and maps, but it seems that this thing can also be used as a cell phone. Because of the E-Ink implementation, the Cellular Book is supposed to have some pretty excellent battery life: You'll get two weeks between charges, assuming that you use the device for about two hours a day.
Other key features include four gigabytes of internal memory, a fold-up design when not in use, USB connectivity, GSM radios, agenda/email synchronization, and audio functionality (downloaded podcasts, etc). There's no mention of Bluetooth, so I'm not exactly sure how the Cellular Book can be used as a phone. No word on pricing or availability either.
