  Just in time for the holidays, E-lets has released a USB Christmas tree named Merry Christmas on a String (AIG-Xmas4/U). Sure there are other USB Christmas trees from other companies, but this version has made extra USB goodness, for one, a mascot in a visible glass case with a bunch of snow inside. All this runs off your USB ports power, connect it to your notebook and you have a portable tree. Perfect to add a bit of Christmas spirit to your cubicle. Inside the glass is the snow which blows around, the motor makes the wind and you get a simulated snowfall effect without picking it up and shaking it. You can even enjoy Christmas carols while all this is going on, It plays a medley of 4 Christmas Carol songs.
Two characters are available, Rudolf the red nose reindeer with Santa and a girl with a mobile phone, nothing says Christmas like a girl with a mobile phone. The size is 170x260 mm and weight is 720g. This price set at 4,200 Yen, which means you will hopefully never see it in any store around here.
