  MySoldius has announced the release of the Soldius1, the world’s first portable solar power source for iPods and mobile phones. They seem to be marketing it mainly to the iPod market, but adapters are available for more than 250 models of mobile phones.
With the extra demands on our batteries due to the photo and video capabilities of our devices, the ability to recharge on the go is more needed than ever. The device folds in half and it’s light enough to fit in your shirt pocket and go with you wherever you need it.
It generates enough power from the sun to fully recharge your device batteries in just 2 or 3 hours. It’s easy to use; you just plug it in and point it towards the sun. You can use it to recharge on the go as you listen to your music or watch videos. It will also save you the hassle of finding the right power adapters if you travel internationally – as long as there is sun, you are set. The Soldius1ranges in cost from $89.99 to $109.99 and is available from the mysoldius website.
