Samsung Announces Upgraded Version of Galaxy S2, the S2 Plus

Samsung refuses to let the Samsung Galaxy S2 die, it seems. They have now officially announced a newer, improved version of the aging handset under the name Galaxy S2 PLUS. While it doesn’t have many external changes and looks nearly identical to the S2, it did get some notable upgrades under the hood.

Hisense Unveils New Google Integrated TV at CES

Hisense has unveiled a new Google TV this year at CES, the XT780. While Hisense may not be a make you are familiar with, they are quickly trying to change that. Hisense first got into the Google TV market back in 2012 at IFA in Berlin. They unveiled the Pulse set top box, add-on hardware similar to the Roku series.

Vizio 7-inch Tegra 3 Tablet Features Stock Android Experience

Earlier today we mentioned Vizio was introducing its first Windows 8 tablet, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have some Android-related news for us as well. Vizio has now announced a new 7-inch tablet featuring a Tegra 3 processor and pure Android experience without the bloat. Interestingly enough, one of the key features of the Windows 8 tablet was it was also a pure Windows 8 experience, with no vendor-specific junk thrown in.
