34% of AT&T iPhone users are waiting to switch to Verizon

What’s going to happen when the iPhone becomes available through Verizon?  A new survey by market research firm Morpace provides a good prediction.  Morpace surveyed 1,000 consumers across all carriers and 29 percents said they were “somewhat/very likely” to purchase an iPhone with Verizon.

Apple iPhone users having more sex? Think again, Android is pretty frisky

A writer from the online dating site OkCupid has claimed that Apple users have twice as much sex as Android users, well, he might have to take a closer look at his own graph. Taken from OkCupid’s online dataset, the graph illustrates the sexual activity of 9,785 anonymous 30-year-old smartphone users.

Apple Peel 520 case for iPod touch reviewed: Stick with the iPhone

About a week ago, we caught a glimpse of the Apple Peel 520 case, which effectively transforms an iPod touch into a nearly functional iPhone. It grants the iPod access to a cellular network for voice calls, text messages, and so on. Well, that Peel case has now been reviewed, and I’m not that excited about it as I initially was.

iPhone connects wearable computer to internet, man is now Cyborg

Wishing you could get a little more intimate with your computer? Swedish researcher and entrepreneur, Martin Magnusson has created a wearable computer that stays very close by. The concept behind it is really quite simple, but the engineering within is what makes it so clever. First, Magnusson bought a cheap CD case, ripped out the CD pockets and replaced them with velcro, causing the case to open like a book for all of the components.

iOS4 upgrade on iPhone 3G causes slowdown

This “upgrade” seems to result in remarkably sluggish performance, slowing the phone down to a nearly unusable crawl. Getting off the unlock screen can take as long as ten seconds and there are significant delays when opening and replying to text messages.

Special case converts iPod touch into fully-fledged iPhone?

A case called the Apple Peel 520 claims to convert a typical iPod into a fully fledged cellular phone

Up until the launch of the iPhone 4, the aesthetic differences between the iPhone 3GS and the iPod touch have been minimal. The features are largely similar too, except for that whole cellular “phone” part of the equation. Well, you can change all that with a simple new case. At least, that’s what it sounds like with the Apple Peel 520. In effect, you can slap this case onto an iPod touch and it will convert it into a functional Apple iPhone, complete with voice calling and text messaging over a cellular network.
